For the benefit of our clients, we can’t always agree with their ideas

An architectural project often begins with a clear image in the client’s mind: how a building should look, what spaces it should include and how much it should cost. Our role is to listen to this vision and understand the needs behind it.

Sometimes, however, the proposed idea conflicts with the way the space will be used, with the budget or with what the building can realistically achieve. At that moment, saying “yes” would be easier, but it would not be in the client’s interest. The architect’s duty is to explain what doesn’t work, show the consequences and propose a better solution.

A good project is built through dialogue, through questions and, at times, through disagreement. The most valuable solutions emerge when the client and the architect can test their ideas together.

For us, caring for the client doesn’t mean confirming every choice. It means helping them reach a result that will still serve them well years from now.
