  • ABOUT

An ambitious and innovative concept for a library in Songdo, South Korea. Made according to the latest standards in terms of technology and sustainability, both structurally and in terms of finishes, the project proposes a ZeroEnergy building, completely self-sustainable, with a fascinating design. Bogdan Neagu also comes up with a completely new proposal for organizing a library, a 10-meter high, 770 cm long shelf carousel that can be controlled through a phone app. Holding up to 10,000 volumes, the carousel can be manipulated electronically to lower the relevant shelf within reach of the reader. Thus, he creates not only an efficient solution to save space, but also an interactive, modern and engaging attraction for library visitors.
